             "[...] Ana Zoe Pop defines, as in many of her creations, an exterior and an interior, a full space and an empty one, where the emptiness, the unseen side of the shape, is metaphysically revealed. In this way, the construction seems to rise on the abstract level of faith, towards which the access remains promised and it is achievable only as pure illumination, destined for initiates.

             But this tormenting spiritual attempt to discover what is on the other side, to defeat the pale hope, hostage of the incommunicable innerness, in front of a perfect physical hermeticism, makes from the image a paradise and an inferno in the same time. In short, the artist formulates a dilemma whose solving implies dramatically the human spirit: in every wall one can find a window or a door. But every one of them can become a wall.

             On one side of her work, with a kind of timid and elegant apside, Ana Zoe Pop writes the Credo (to decipher in mirror) introducing the letter, writing, and naming in the strict visuality of the sculptural volume. But, as in other works, in their conceptual significance, it is synonym with the creative Logos. [...]"
